Getting here

Located on the border between beautiful Devon and Cornwall and home to Britain’s Ocean City of Plymouth , the Tamar Valley is easy to get to by road, rail, sea or air. 

Once you’re here, there are lots of easy ways to navigate your way around the region.  We are home to some of the most spectacular railway line in the country which makes for a truly magical way to journey around the area.  If you’ve ventured to the Tamar Valley by car, the road links to the border are excellent and the main roadway through Cornwall passes through the Valley giving you easy access to the vast countryside, towns and tourist attractions. 

Plymouth is a major UK city and benefits from excellent public transport links in and out of the urban centre as well as across the rest of the Tamar Valley, why not leave the car behind and see what you can find.
